The house was fantastic and better than anticipated. Our host, Matteus, was very responsive and accommodating with our requests. Although it was in a gated community, there were many stores close by. I would recommend staying in this Airbnb. It was fabulous!

Overall, we had a really good time! The place was nice and had a great setup. We ended up with fewer people than expected, so some rooms went unused, but we still enjoyed it. A couple things could be improved—the couch was cracking and might need a cover, the jacuzzi could’ve been hotter, and the pool table had a hole in one of the pockets. There were darts but no dartboard, and we requested a grill but had some issues with that.
The kids loved the pool, and the clubhouse nearby was a cool bonus. Even with the few hiccups, we had fun and would definitely come back for future Orlando trips. Looking forward to next year!

Great location. Access to the country clubs, pools, restaurant, and lazy river was definitely a plus. Did have a few hiccups. First, I was not thrilled at all that the heated pool we paid for was broken (not heated). I was told that we would get a refund, but have not received it yet. Was not a fan of being on the corner, but after a day, people watching became a sport. Although the couch was a bit worn, it was comfy. The air hockey table did not work. Not all rooms have tvs, and the $100 grill rental was for a grill held together with wood beams that we could have bought for $89 at walmart. But I must say, overall, having space for everyone was worth it, and honestly, I would book again.

The first huge problem, was the heater on the pool was broken and the host left us to believe it wasn’t, I ended up calling the maintenance person for the house and he told us it has been broken for months and the owner new about it the whole time. The listing was listed as a luxurious mansion and I would not say it was luxurious at all. Just because it has a lot of bedrooms and baths does not make it luxurious. To top all that off, all of the kitchen pots, pans and utensils were all out dated, making it very difficult to cook. The house seemed to be old with rips in the couch and broken pool sticks. Overall the area in champions gate was great but definitely would recommend a different host/house.

Had we known the property would have these deficiencies, we would not have booked this home under any circumstances. We would have booked a hotel instead. This stay fell well below expectations for an Airbnb, especially given our long history of loyalty to the platform.
This experience does not align with Airbnb’s advertised standards or our prior experiences as long-time Airbnb users. If this level of condition, safety, and misrepresentation is considered acceptable, we will be reconsidering future use of Airbnb entirely and returning to hotels for reliability, transparency, and safety.
Gated Community Check-In Failure (Major Disruption)
The listing advertised self check-in. However, due to an error on the host’s end, the host was not fully able to add all required guest names to the gated community access list:
-Guest names were not properly registered at the gate
- We were locked out for 2–3 hours Our grandchildren were stuck waiting in the car. I can’t add more as there is no room
